The Fund Raiser Guy is a fund raising company owned and operated by Rudy R. Magaña.  Rudy has been in fund raising since 1998 and has provided hundreds of fund raising programs for schools and other organizations throughout the County of El Paso. 

Mr. Magaña is a native El Pasoan who graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing.  He is married and has a daughter and a son.  His involvement with the children of El Paso has been very extensive.  In the Ysleta ISD, he served two year terms on both a high school Community Education Improvement Council (C.E.I.C.) and a middle school C.E.I.C.  He also helped initiate Student Assistance Programs in several El Paso schools and assisted with a number of Project Graduations.  Mr. Magaña was a member of both band and orchestra booster organizations, Assistant Scoutmaster, Junior Achievement Advisor, and a DECA Marketing Competition Judge.  He is a member of the Texas Tech Parent Association.

Mr. Magaña has also served the City of El Paso as an Advisor for the Pavo Real Recreation Center, the Eastside YMCA as a Director, the Mental Health Association of El Paso as a Director, and the United Way of El Paso as a Community Team Leader.

Today, Rudy continues to be active in his church and community.
